Certificate Programs

One of the prime purposes of the Faculty of Professional Business and Technical Management is to help Business Managers, particularly those in Technical fields, develop their management knowledge.

The Faculty is initially offering members the opportunity to develop their non-technical management skills via the studying of eight certificate programs.

These certificate programs will integrate into a ‘Level 4’ Ofqual Diploma. The cost to study the program will be £495.

The certificate programs are as follows:

Certificate in Business
This program will give the student a generic view of the environment businesses operate in.

Certificate in Human Resources
This program incorporates Human Resource Management and Managing Ethically, helping good technicians understand the challenges of managing people.

Certificate in Communication
This program concentrates on helping students develop their personal skills and how to effectively communicate. Special emphasis is spent on developing their marketing knowledge.

Certificate in Management
This is designed to extend the students’ knowledge in a broad program.

Certificate in Marketing
In this program the students learn to plan Sales and Marketing programs and how organisations have a mixture of Marketing programs.

Certificate in Corporate Responsibility
This program reflects on the culture of organisations and how it affects how corporations work socially with the community it works in.

Certificate in Finance
This program covers the Fundamentals of Accounting and incorporates case studies in Financial Management.

Certificate in Customer Relationships
Customers are the keys for survival of all organisations. Without customers they cease to exist. Technical staff often find them a nuisance rather than a necessity.

Once one of these certificate programs has been completed students can enrol into the second one for an extra £100.

Being a ‘Level 4’ Ofqual certificate they are the equivalent to a 15 credit point first year UK university subject.

Students who complete all 8 Certificate courses will be eligible to enrol into the second year of the Business Administration degree programs with a number of United Kingdom Universities.
